How plastic is harming the ocean.
Whenever we go out, we casually put the things we buy in plastic covers. We think that if we use just one cover, the bugs will get stuck.
We use a new plastic cover every time very casually. There are 8 billion people in the world like us. What if everyone does this??

Wherever the plastic cover we use falls, it flies away and ends up in canals or rivers. Once it falls there, the wet cover does not come back to the ground. From there, it goes into the sea. The weight of plastic waste that all humans use casually during the year is 300 million tons. Of these thirty million, 80 lakh tons of plastic goes into the sea very casually.

Some creatures are dying because of eating plastic covers that have fallen into the sea, some creatures are getting stuck in their necks, some creatures are getting stuck in their stomachs because the plastic is not digested and they feel full all the time. Sea turtles eat jellyfish. Sea turtles are dying because they eat plastic covers in the water, thinking they are jellyfish. If the number of sea turtles decreases, jellyfish will increase. If the number of jellyfish increases, because they eat fish fry, fishermen will lose fish, the fishing industry will be damaged and thousands of families will be put on the road.

Approximately 700 marine species are at risk of extinction due to plastic. Due to our casual behavior or casual irresponsibility, by 2050, plastic will weigh more than fish in the sea. Keep this in mind before using single-use plastic.
