How to live with the status quo
We have to accept that in this society, change is constantly happening within individuals. On this earth, everything—physical, social, and economic—is constantly changing. If there is no change, then there is no life.We all have a desire; I don’t want the current situation, I want a higher situation. Naturally, motivational speakers say this.
Whenever we want something better than this, we get a negative emotion. That negative emotion causes the fluids in our body to be out of balance. Due to this, we are unable to think logically, and our performance decreases.
The stronger that desire, the stronger our performance is affected. Why does that negative emotion increase? Then our performance decreases.
Everyone should respect me socially. I should earn a lot of money. I should definitely go to America and earn lakhs. I should definitely get a seat in IIT. When we think that we must do this, the negative emotion increases and our performance decreases.I will perform as best I can. If I grow, it will be okay; if I don’t grow, it will be okay. I will accept the current situation.
I am preparing for an exam, and I am preparing for a graduation and post-graduation. Right now I don’t have a job; I have to be mentally prepared to live like this. I am not saying no to a job, and I am not saying no to development, but even if it doesn’t happen, it’s okay; I will keep trying. When we think, our performance increases. If we fail an exam, we have to accept it. It’s true, but we don’t pass by not accepting it. A girl is obese, it’s true, but as long as we don’t accept it, it won’t change. It’s still the same. What you want is what you work towards, and the result will come. If you work thinking that the result will come, then you won’t be able to work.
