A girl is travelling in a train. Suppose another girl is travelling in the same train, and that girl is abusing this girl. Then that girl said that if she abuses me, will I be quiet, and will I slap her?
I asked the same girl another question: “You got off the train, and the train will start again in five minutes.” In this gap, you went to a guava seller. She said that she will give you three guavas for 20 rupees. You said that you want four, and then she abuses you. Then you told her that you should teach her a lesson, and would you stop the train with a chain and fight with her, or would you say that the train will move and leave?
Then the girl said that the train journey is important to me but not to fight with her. Just as you move on from arguing with her about the train journey being important, saying that your journey is important to you, so too is the journey of life.We did not come to this earth to tell everyone good and bad.
It is not about telling your colleagues, your siblings, your relatives, or your parents about your greatness.
If you try to tell, your life will be ruined even more. Even if they do not insult you, you may be insulted. If they intend to insult you, we may not be insulted.
How others behave with you is not in your hands. That is an external factor.
But we have a duty to behave like this, not like that. We have to teach them some lesson. For that, I have to study well and get a job.
No matter how much you study and get a job, they will not give you respect. They will try to put you down with some trick. We are killing our self-respect by wanting to win over everyone around us.
If someone insults you, I think you should immediately teach them a lesson. If you don’t teach them a lesson, they will insult you even more.
Just take a pause. We need to do our work; we need to move on.
Whoever insults you, whoever is emotionally weak, they will insult you. That’s what they want; that’s why we get emotional and down.
It’s your choice whether to continue with them after taking a pause.
what is self- respect what is self- respect
