Parenting industry versus inferiority.
We have learned some things in parenting. We have learned that it is very important up to the age of six. The feelings formed then determine life. The experiences formed at that time continue to determine life. An incident happened in Hyderabad. A six-year-old kid was beaten badly by his mother.
Such things affect them badly. They make him suffer extreme trauma. It is possible that it will last a lifetime.
We have talked for up to six years. Now let’s discuss up to six to 12 years. We call this period your industry versus inferiority.
At that age they go to school. They go beyond parents and siblings and reach teachers.They try to learn everything new and be different from everyone else. That’s why they try to write neatly, in an innovative way. In their attempt to be innovative, they sometimes fail. Parents also set some rules and regulations. When they break those rules, they scold them. Especially because the mother has more prestige.She has three more swings. Because biologically she has to carry the baby. And when she reaches 40, she has things like menopause. Then the kid is small, so she shows all that frustration on them. Because she has periods like this, she has three more swings. Due to this, there is a possibility of hormonal imbalance. Since all the family members blame the mother, she has a little more prestige.Here, I am not saying that the mother is less than the father. The mother has more hormonal imbalance. Compared to the mother, the father experiences emotional ventilation when he goes out. But the mother has three swings more. Why should she stay at home? There may be some fights with the in-laws and the sisters. Therefore, there is a possibility of showing all that frustration on the kid.
When children try to be innovative, when they are discouraged instead of being encouraged, there are extremely negative consequences for the child. I will write more about this later.
