Some relationships are ones we choose, and some are beyond our control. For example, we don’t get to choose who our parents are. We didn’t choose our father, nor did we choose any of our blood relatives.
We can choose our friends, and we can choose our life partner. We might marry someone chosen by our parents, but we still have that option.
We can choose our friends. We can even choose friends on social media.
We can choose which company to work for.
Some relationships are ones we select, and some are not.
Some relationships are legal.
Now, if I don’t like my mother, after I become an adult, I can move away and live separately from her. No one has the right to force us to stay together. Similarly, if I don’t like my father or my brother, I can move away and live separately from them.
But after marriage, a husband does not have the right to move away and live separately from his wife.
Since marriage involves sex between a male and a female, the female has to face all the consequences that arise from it. That is, pregnancy, delivery, etc., are all faced by the female. Therefore, marriage is a social construct established by society. It later became like a law.Even after being in a live-in relationship, you don’t have the right to separate without mutual consent. It’s okay to separate if both parties agree. If they approach the law during the separation and feel that they are suffering a loss, the law will support them.
